How to fill the form online

Enter your full name as it should appear on the licence, your NID number and scan, licence number, date of birth in the AD calendar, gender, mobile number and email. Then verify the OTP sent to both.

Each province has its own portal. Use the one for the province where your transport office is located:

A wrong name, date of birth or gender on a Nepali driving licence can be corrected through your province's portal. The correction goes through a form, OTP verification, office approval and, in some provinces, a fee. The steps below follow the order the portal presents them.

Portal steps, in order

1. Enter your full name, NID number and NID scan, licence number, date of birth (AD), gender, mobile number and email.
2. Enter the OTP sent to your mobile and email.
3. Complete self-verification.
4. Select your transport office and submit.
5. Wait for office approval.
6. If your province charges for correction, pay the update fee online.
7. The licence is updated.

Filling in the form

Enter your name exactly as it should appear on the licence. Choose the licence-number format that matches your card, and select gender as the portal lists it: male, female or other.

Office approval and fees

The office reviews the correction before it is approved. The update fee depends on your province. Some provinces charge it; others need only office approval and no payment. Confirm which applies to your office before you pay.
