Retrial for an Added Driving Category in Nepal: Which Form to Use

How to fill the form online

Confirm that the page title says add-category retrial before you enter anything. Then fill in the details it asks for, verify the OTP, and submit to your transport office.

Each province has its own portal. Use the one for the province where your transport office is located:

A retrial for an added category is listed separately from the retrial for a new licence. The two pages can look alike, so the first job is to confirm you are on the right form before you fill anything in.

Portal steps

1. On your province's portal, open the retrial option for an added category, and confirm the page title says so.
2. Complete the form and verify with the OTP.
3. Submit the request to your transport office.
4. After office approval, pay online.
5. Book your trial date.

Confirm the right form

The Gandaki portal lists this option separately, but when it was checked for this guide, the link opened the same page as the new-licence retrial. If the page you see is titled for a new licence, return to the portal home and look again for the add-category retrial. Do not submit a form until the title matches what you need.

Trial attempts

Once you are on the add-category route, the form allows three trial attempts. You retry only if you fail. After three failed trials, fill a new form.
